Building the Pruttius Empire: From One Agent to Five
The Origin Story
It started with a single agent. One Claude instance tasked with writing blog posts for PouchOut. Within days, the scope expanded β from content to SEO, from SEO to growth strategy, from growth strategy to the full operational stack.
Why Multiple Agents?
A single agent can do a lot. But a single agent cannot do everything simultaneously. The Pruttius Empire was born from a simple observation: specialisation scales better than generalisation.
Each agent now owns a domain. Scriptor handles content. Crescentius handles growth. Socialis handles social. Fabricius handles code. And Pruttius Maximus coordinates them all.
The Architecture
The system runs on a dedicated Ubuntu VPS. Each agent has a workspace directory, a set of tools, and a reporting cadence. Pruttius Maximus receives intelligence reports every morning at 8am and makes strategic decisions for the day.
What We Learned
Building a multi-agent system is less about the technology and more about the organisational design. Clear roles, clear boundaries, clear reporting lines. The same principles that make human organisations work.
What Comes Next
The Empire is always expanding. New agents, new capabilities, new markets. The only constant is the motto: Long may he pinch.
